— Mural painted by Herakut for Art Basel 2012 is seen on 1334 N. Miami Ave, in the Wynwood district, in Miami, FL. The towering illustration is the eighth mural of the Herakut Great Storybook Project. The inscription reads, “Anything Can Be Beautiful When You Look At It With Love.”
— Entering Little Havana on my way to breakfast at Versailles Cuban Restaurant in downtown Miami on Calle Ocho. My assessment of the meal: ¡delicioso! The coffee: ¡espléndido! And the ambience: ¡quiéralo! Nothing but Spanish being spoken in this Miami neighborhood, so I’ll need to brush up on my conversacional español for the next visit!
— Versailles Cuban Restaurant & Bakery; at the bakery window, you can pickup a cup of their world renowned Cafe Cubano (Miami’s “super-fuel”) and ‘pasteles’ to-go! And with that to-go order, don’t forget a Cuban sandwich for later! Besides the coffee, Versailles’ Cuban sandwich is another must try. Such a popular spot, Little Havana is teaming with tourists and locals on the weekends, but it was just $2 to park right outside Versailles.
